Inspired Kids - Train of thought course
The Inspired Kids – Train of Thought Course is a Foundations Program for 5-11 year olds that focuses on giving kids the tools to empower themselves by teaching them to focus their energy and attention on what they can control.
The main goal of the Program is to introduce kids to important life skills that are essential to long term success and wellbeing in age appropriate ways. And it has three main aims
1. To help children learn more about themselves, how they work and what works for them
2. To encourage children to focus on and take responsibility for what they can control – their thoughts, words and actions
3. To provide them with the skills and tools to begin managing their thoughts, emotions and experiences in a positive way
By using the analogy of a train journey, I teach the kids how to align their thoughts, words and actions with what they want to achieve rather than reacting to the situations that arise in their lives. Making the programme FUN and delivering the material in ways that make intuitive sense to children means the underlying concepts get remembered! I can just picture ‘my kids’ mentally going through the carriages of their trains when they are my age ;0D
