Inspired Kids - Bullyproof
Bullyproof is an Assertiveness Training class for Primary aged children who want to be more confident and assertive in their interactions with others.
While it is an ideal class for children who are currently dealing with a bully, it is also a great class for children who would like to feel more confident about handling everyday social challenges, like teasing, conflict with friends and peer pressure, and know how to avoid trouble in the first place by making themselves Bully-proof!
This class will cover the following topics
During the course, the children have lots of opportunities to learn from one another, practice their skills together, receive honest, supportive and constructive feedback and act out familiar scenes where assertiveness skills would be useful using puppets or their own selves.

This class will cover the following topics
- What is Assertiveness? The 3 Communication Styles.
- How Assertive Am I? Knowing what Communication Styles you use in different settings.
- How to be more Assertive. Pro-social skills > Asking for what you want and need. Joining in.
- Setting Boundaries and Saying No. Standing up for yourself and dealing with peer pressure.
- Like You Mean it. Making what you say and how you say it - match. Using body language, facial expressions and your voice.
- Friend, Frienemy or Bully? Knowing the difference and responding accordingly. Handling everyday teasing with humour.
- Becoming Bullyproof! Tips for acting Assertively (even when you don't feel it), handling bullies and keeping yourself safe.

- They would like to learn how to respond to teasing without getting upset or angry
- You would like to prepare them to handle peer pressure prior to the teenage years
